April 2008 ODS Large Group Reporting Update

At ODS, we know that the reports we provide are key to successfully managing your accounts, and we are committed to making them as accurate and timely as possible. Here are some of the steps we have taken to improve accessibility and accuracy of the reports we provide:

Report Availability

Groups with 100 or more employees will receive ODS’ new reporting suite. All reports for groups that have been through ODS’ system enhancement have had their reports updated and posted on the ODS Agent web portal and/or the group’s Employer Online Services web portal. Some groups had reports posted from December 2007, while more recently converted groups have reports from March 2008.

Report Accuracy

Please note that the re-posted reports may contain data that differs from reports produced in 2007 on ODS’ prior system. This is because we categorize some items differently in the new reporting suite. Due to the features and enhancements included in the new reports, you may see a restatement of information. Changes include the timing of the data on the reports, the way claims are categorized and enhanced data detail

Consistent Accessibility

We are committed to posting the reports by the fifth business day of the month for the prior month’s data. For example, reports available in early May 2008 will reflect data through April 2008.
